I have
talked about and screenshoted multitargeting before in Orcas. When you create a new 2.0 or 3.0 project, features that are in v3.5 will not be available in your toolbox or properties or the references dialog. What I hadn't realised until today was that you can still see them even though they are not available, which I think is cool. Notice in the following screenshot how
System.Core.dll is greyed out in my 2.0 project references dialog.

If you create a project and then change the framework you target to be a lower version than what it was before, you will get compiler errors for anything that isn't present, of course.
